Once in a blue moons refers to when 2 full moons fall with the same month. Something that happens every couple of years. However, this New Year's Eve was the first one to occur on Dec 31st in 20 some-odd years. I took this picture with a new telephoto lens I got for Christmas. Thanks Mom and Dad!
